Getting started

What exactly is Tradexa AI?
A subscription software platform for self-directed traders: market scanners, a fleet of automated "Auto-Pilot" bots, charting, backtesting, an AI assistant, and a members' community. It's a tool you control — not a broker, not an advisor, and not a promise of profit.
Do I need to know how to trade?
No experience is required to start in Practice mode (fake money, real prices), and every bot explains its trades in plain English. That said, trading carries real risk, so we recommend learning the basics and starting small. See our Risk Disclosure.
Do I need my own brokerage account?
To trade real money, yes — you connect your own broker (such as Alpaca) with your own API keys. Your money always stays in your account; Tradexa just sends the orders you've told a bot to make. You can use Practice mode with no broker at all.

How the bots work

What do the bots actually do?
Each Auto-Pilot bot scans the market on a schedule, ranks candidates by your chosen strategy (momentum, dip-buying, long-term, options, or crypto), and — when something clears your rules — places an order and manages the exit with stop-losses, take-profits, and trailing stops. Every buy and sell is logged with the exact reason.
Can I see why a bot made a trade?
Yes. The Auto-Pilot activity feed and journal show every trade with its full reasoning — the score, the technical factors that aligned, the news read, and the exit rule that fired. The Best Setups area also shows the top-ranked ideas the system is watching.
What does "auto" mean on the option Take-Profit / Stop-Loss?
"Auto" means the bot uses the built-in default for the options strategy you picked (income, balanced, aggressive, or lotto). Those defaults are a percentage of the option's premium — for example, a balanced option auto-sells around +60% and cuts around −50%. Type your own number in the box to override it any time.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Bots place losing trades, data and brokers can fail, and stops are not guaranteed exit prices. Only trade money you can afford to lose. Please read the Risk Disclosure in full.

Safety

Are my broker keys safe?
Your API keys are encrypted at rest and masked so they're never sent back to your browser. You can remove them any time in Settings. We never take custody of your funds. See the Privacy Policy.
What safety limits can I set?
Per bot you can set a max drawdown, a daily loss limit (circuit breaker), an opening-bell wait, max positions, position size, and per-trade caps. There's also a one-tap "close everything" button. You're always in control.
Is there two-factor authentication?
Yes — enable TOTP two-factor authentication in Settings for a stronger login.

Pricing & billing

What does it cost?
Current pricing is shown at checkout. There's a one-time Lifetime plan and a yearly Annual plan. Founders pricing is a limited launch offer.
Do you offer refunds?
No — all sales are final, because access is digital and delivered instantly. Try Practice mode and email us your questions before buying. Full details on the Refund Policy page.
How do I cancel the Annual plan?
Email [email protected] to turn off auto-renew. You keep access through the term you already paid for; cancelling stops the next charge.
How do I reset my password?
Use the reset option on the login page, or email support and we'll help you back in.

Support

How do I reach a human?
Email [email protected] — pre-sale questions, account help, password resets, anything. A real person answers. That's the official support line for all Tradexa customers.
